As an engineer on the team, you will work on the next generation web rendering architecture for the worldwide Amazon retail website. Your code will touch the lives of hundreds of millions of Amazon customers every day. Amazon has hundreds of internal teams with thousands of developers owning content on the retail website. You will apply your expertise to build a state-of-the-art framework which removes dependencies between teams making multiple concurrent changes, and enables UX content to be portable and reusable across pages and devices. You will build distributed services with high concurrency, low latency, massive scalability, and five 9's availability. You will improve how next generation Amazon pages are rendered on customers' phones and computers.Our team is based out of Vancouver in the brand new YVR26 "The Post" building with some of the best amenities in downtown Vancouver. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
