Job Description
Software Development Engineer in EC2 Accelerated Platforms: Build custom software for new generations of GPU-based EC2 instance families, grow system-level development skills, and sharpen problem-solving skills in a diverse work environment. As part of the UC organization, support the development and management of various AWS services.
Key responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of accelerated EC2 instance family lifecycle, developing new solutions across the virtualization software stack, and driving operational excellence. Collaborate with other EC2 teams to drive innovative solutions.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, 2+ years of C/C++ software development experience, 2+ years of low-level hardware interaction experience, understanding of OS internals, and ability to troubleshoot system-level software.
