Job Summary: Cypress SME with 4+ years of experience creating frameworks and test scripts for Cypress, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Cypress SME with 4+ years of post-collegiate experience creating frameworks and test scripts for Cypress. The successful candidate will also have exceptional written and verbal communication skills to be able to help train their teammates in the setup and use of Cypress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create Test Automation scripts that allow us to confidently deliver new functionality to our Clients.
- Scope of automation testing will consist of, but not limited to, functional, systems integration, and Client integration tests.
- Develop leading software verification (testing) plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Approve large features and validate vulnerability fixes.
- Effectively mentor other test automation engineers.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Cypress Test Automation is essential.
- Proven ability to apply advanced testing skills, tools/frameworks, techniques, processes, and principles to software solutions in support of defect management, automation, diagnosis, and reporting in a simple production environment.
- Ability to sign off on features and validate vulnerability fixes.
- Ability to write functional specifications.
- Technically minded problem solver.
- Thrives in a fast-paced and Client-Centric, collaborative working environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
About the Role:
This position will require a very close partnership with agile team members to ensure quality products are released to our Clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating test automation scripts, developing software verification plans, and mentoring other test automation engineers.
