About the Role:
- Design and develop features in profiling tools and Java runtime.
- Contribute to performance optimization and compliance with industry standard JVM specification.
- Collaborate with teams and services to solve business challenges.
- Support existing deployments and address critical issues.
About the Team:
- Part of the JDK organization, working on language runtime space.
- Contributed to migration of Amazon's default JDK to Open JDK.
- Launched Amazon Corretto, a distribution of Open JDK.
About Amazon:
- Leader in cloud computing, with a strong focus on innovation.
- Uses Java for majority of services and nearly all public-facing AWS services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- 2+ years of distributed systems experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science.
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
- 2+ years of Machine Learning experience.
