Job Description
Software Development Engineer for AWS Networking organization to design and develop software and services for global optical network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate autonomously, deliver projects with scope at team or cross-team level
- Interact with other teams, understand their needs, or integrate with their systems
- Drive designs for components and services that deliver new features and capabilities
- Prepare estimates for upcoming deliverables, document proposed solutions
- Review code of other members, write well-structured and optimized code
- Perform root cause analysis on operational events, provide project updates to leadership
Requirements:
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language
- Designing or architecting of new and existing systems, building complex software systems
