Job Description
Design, develop, and deploy photo features for current and future Alexa devices, write clean code, and perform peer code-reviews as a Full Stack Software Development Engineer on the Amazon Photos team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop highly scalable web services using Java and latest AWS technologies
- Contribute to best-in-class programming skills to develop innovative, consumer-facing device experiences using Android, React Native
- Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
- Launch new features in the US and International markets working closely with other Alexa teams
- Improve Operational Excellence including latency and scalability
Requirements:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Full stack development experience, including web services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
