Job Description
- Design and develop software and services for AWS Networking organization
- Operate autonomously and deliver projects with scope at team or cross-team level
- Interact with other teams, understand their needs, and integrate with their systems
- Drive designs for components and services that deliver new features and capabilities
- Prepare estimates for upcoming deliverables and document proposed solutions
- Review code of other members, write well-structured and optimized code, and perform root cause analysis on operational events
- Provide project updates to leadership and other team members
Requirements
- Experience in professional software development
- Designing or architecting systems with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Programming with at least one software programming language
- Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
