Software Development Engineer (L5)
The AZA Team is responsible for A to Z Assistant (AZA), an AI-powered virtual assistant designed to help Amazon employees find information and complete tasks more efficiently.
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and launch of core product features
- Have significant influence on overall strategy by defining product features, driving system architecture, and spearheading best practices
- Create reliable, scalable, and high-performance products requiring exceptional technical expertise and understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering new features and products, with a demonstrated track record of success in a hyper-growth environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle
