Software Development Engineer, Lambda Runtimes, AWS
Develop innovative serverless computing solutions for global customers, driving the next generation of industry-leading compute features and shaping the direction of AWS and the serverless industry.
About the Role
AWS Lambda's goal is to simplify and improve the experience of computing in the cloud for every developer. Our team is responsible for the curation, patching, and deprecation of managed runtimes, including Python, NodeJS, Java, Ruby, Go, and DotNet.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect new and existing systems, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Program with at least one software programming language
- Collaborate with customers to deliver new initiatives and drive exciting new and existing projects
- Identify and solve problems in different programming language ecosystems
- Enable new customer-facing functionality and new programming paradigms in the Serverless ecosystem
Requirements
- Experience in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
