Key Job Responsibilities


As a Software Development Engineer, you will own the design and implementation of new and novel services that are robust, highly scalable and above all delight customers. You will help drive the direction of the software architecture and work with other teams on integration. In addition to owning the architecture of a larger product, you will:

  1. Lead code reviews
  2. Mentor engineers
  3. Drive important technical decisions

  1. Decide what features to build
  2. Drive software engineering best practices
  3. Design performant, distributed and scalable systems
  4. Strategize and shape our long-term vision and architecture
  5. Lead code reviews and mentor engineers

About the Team


The PXT AtoZ Framework team owns the development frameworks that provide consumer-grade web and mobile experiences that are highly secure, private, and available for all our users.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Comfortable with written and/or verbal communication in English - our Tech Hubs are diverse so the working language is 100% English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
