Join our team as a Software Development Engineer to design and develop systems for Amazon's Retail business. You will work on high-impact initiatives, drive best practices, mentor other engineers, and drive continuous improvements in engineering and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, experience programming with at least one software programming language, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience, deep knowledge of Distributed SOA Architecture, and experience of successfully mentoring junior SDEs. We are a part of Retail Business Services (RBS) which supports Amazon's Retail business growth WW through three core tasks: Selection, Defect Elimination, and operational process support for WW Retail teams. We develop automation that leverages Machine/Deep Learning to scale execution of these high-complex tasks, ensuring information in Amazon's catalog is complete, correct, and comprehensive enough to give Amazon customers a great shopping experience every time. We use the latest technology like LLM to solve business problems and believe in "Work Hard. Have Fun.
