Software Development Engineer at Amazon Search

About the Role
The Search Navigation team is responsible for worldwide customer-facing search features, selecting and ranking navigation options to help customers explore, refine, and traverse search results across all device experiences.
- Architect and build the platform that renders search result pages
- Optimize for speed and developer productivity
- Collaborate with senior engineers across the organization to tackle large-scale architectural problems
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer behavior and propose ideas and solutions during sprint planning
- Implement big ideas and measure results
- Design and architect new and existing systems
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Requirements
- Experience in professional software development
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
