Software Development Engineer at Amazon Security Platform Engineering
Design, implement, and test systems for Security Engineers, utilizing AWS services to build highly available infrastructure and automate deployments, upgrades, and system changes.
About the Role
- Design and implement systems for Security Engineers
- Use AWS services to build highly available infrastructure
- Implement security controls for data storage and infrastructure
- Automate deployments, upgrades, and system changes
- Partner with security engineers to learn how they use tools to protect Amazon's operations
- Ensure systems can ingest petabytes of incoming data without slowing down
- Participate in oncall operations and keep systems operating for partners across the company
Requirements
- Experience in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting systems
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language
- Experience with full software development life cycle
- Experience with infrastructure as code
- Experience with AWS services
- Experience with containerization technologies
