Job Description
Design and implement systems for security engineers using AWS services to build highly available infrastructure. Implement security controls for data storage and infrastructure, automate deployments, and partner with security engineers to protect Amazon's operations. Participate in oncall operations, uncover opportunities to build skills in cloud computing, security, and data engineering, and work to support tools in the new European Sovereign Cloud.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in professional software development
- Designing or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience with infrastructure as code
- AWS services experience
- Containerization technologies experience, such as Docker or Kubernetes
