Job Description
We're seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to shaping the future of compute for the Amazon Web Services cloud.
- Develop software, services, and designs to make Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) the best place to run enterprise-class containerized workloads.
- Build next-generation services that simplify how customers and partners configure and manage their Windows workloads in the cloud.
- Work closely with various Amazon container technologies like ECS, EKS, and Fargate to build services that handle large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
- Collaborate with a team that values work-life balance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
Our team is dedicated to supporting new members and assigning projects that help each team member develop into a better-rounded engineer and achieve their goals.
This role involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every two months, and requires experience with:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.
- Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Compensation for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
