Engineering Leader for Cloud Front in Dublin, Ireland
Seeking an experienced engineering leader to innovate and solve complex problems in scale, security, availability, and performance for Amazon Cloud Front.
Cloud Front is a content delivery network that securely delivers data, videos, applications, and APIs to customers globally with low latency and high transfer speeds.
- Design and build software that works flawlessly for millions of transactions every second and Exabytes of data transfer.
- Own control plane, logging, reporting, and database aspects of the service.
- Lead a team of engineers to deliver on customer performance and scale expectations.
Key responsibilities include operational excellence, designing and building software, and delivering on customer performance and scale expectations.
- Strong technical depth and ability to grow team, code, and customer outcomes at a rapid pace.
- Self-ability to directly work and manage junior and senior engineers.
- Strong focus on operational and engineering excellence.

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
- Experience in engineering team management and leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
