**Software Development Manager for Generative AI Solutions** We are seeking a seasoned Software Development Manager to lead a team of engineers in designing and delivering cutting-edge Generative AI solutions for AWS customers. **Job Description** As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Software Development Engineers (SDEs) in developing, testing, deploying, and owning GenAI focused solutions. You will set the vision for the team and drive execution towards that vision, maintaining a high operational bar and ensuring high availability and security of your product. You will also be responsible for hiring and developing top engineers, partnering with product leaders to invent new ways to delight customers, and communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements and describe software product features. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead a team of SDEs in designing and delivering GenAI solutions • Set the vision for the team and drive execution towards that vision • Maintain a high operational bar and ensure high availability and security of your product • Hire and develop top engineers • Partner with product leaders to invent new ways to delight customers • Communicate with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements and describe software product features **Requirements** • 10+ years of professional software experience • Experience in engineering team management • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent • Experience delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment **About the Team** Our team values diverse experiences and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
