Software Embedded Engineer, Nitro SW TeamAWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.The Nitro firmware team, part of Annapurna Labs, is positioned in the very heart of AWS technology engine. We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join us in building the next generation of our products.Key Job ResponsibilitiesYou'll have the opportunity to work on the technologies that power the world's largest cloud provider, in a dynamic, open, fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll develop, design, maintain, deploy, monitor, and support a very important component in the Nitro firmware, while enjoying every step of the journey.Basic Qualifications5+ years of experience with embedded software developmentBachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Science or equivalentFluent in CExperience with HW/SW interfaces at both the board and chip levelPreferred QualificationsDeep understanding of computer architectureExperience with SoC development life cycleExperience working in Linux environmentsAbout the TeamAmazon values diverse experiences.
