A Degree qualified (Computer Science) Software Engineer with commercial C++ skills as well as a good understanding of software testing techniques and some web development skills, will join the Dublin team of an established High-Tech company. Hybrid working available and fantastic benefits package. Applicants will be highly proficient in C++ (preferred) or C; have some knowledge of other languages such as C# / Rust or Python, have some experience of developing high performance / multi-threaded applications as well as possessing some web development skills. You’ll be a key member of a talented team of software engineers and testers creating development tools used by game developers - ensuring quality and robustness throughout. Essential skills include: * A minimum of a 1st / 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. * Strong C++ skills (ideally) or C. * 2+ years commercial software development experience. * Proven understanding of software testing techniques including writing unit tests. * Excellent problem solving skills. Desirable skills include: * Developing high performance applications on Windows, Linux and/or MacOS. * UI/UX design. * Other languages such as Python, C# and/or Rust. * Front-end web development; back-end development; database technologies; Web Servers.
