Our corporate headquarters are in Dublin, Ireland.ResponsibilitiesInteracts with the Product Owner / Business Analyst to define, refine, develop, test and deliver against functional requirementsUnderstands and translates functional into technical requirementsWorks with an architecture team to design the components of the product suiteProvides input to the project delivery plan, including sizing and estimation if required, with regards to one’s areas of responsibilityCoordinates the work within the boundaries of their teams and projectBeing accountable for the quality of one’s team and supporting through code review processes and testing strategies as a whole-team approachImplements correct, performant and reliable code and according to specificationDetermines code quality and test coverage, and designing and implementing tests to make sure software is built to the highest quality possibleDevelops and maintains test automation efficiency and effectivenessResponsible for defect closure and root cause analysis to avoid regressionsDrives continual improvement in quality and efficiency, including defect prevention/root cause analysis, suggesting and adopting improvements to technology and efficiencyCollaborates and partners across different departments including support, consulting, product management, and engineeringWrites technical documentation for internal or external consumption, for developers of varying skills levelInfluences system designs and plans from a testing perspectiveReviews, analyses and improves test coverage and reduces defect count for their product areaCollaborates with developers to bring new software releases and services into productionAutomates everything from deployment, monitoring, management and incident response - treat 'Everything as Code'Develops and improves operational practices and proceduresThis role will report to the Software Engineering Director.QualificationsCandidate possesses a bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or numerical discipline with computing backgroundProgramming, troubleshooting, Experience weighing specific technical tradeoffs to maximize impact for effort.Exposure to process and methodologies that drive scalable software development and software testingExperience troubleshooting issues with usersExposure to approach a problem from different angles, analyzing pros and cons of different solutions and troubleshooting skills to debug and trace issue to provide a fixDesire to work in a dynamic environmentHave interest in DevOps, Build and Release Engineering.
