Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Google Cloud
Manage large-scale, fault-tolerant systems, ensuring reliability, uptime, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Write product or system development code.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve.
- Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
About the Role:
As an SRE, you will combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale systems. You will work on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and eliminating work through automation.
You will have the opportunity to manage complex challenges of scale, use your expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large-scale system design, and work in a culture of diversity, intellectual curiosity, problem-solving, and openness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with data structures/algorithms and software development in one or more programming languages.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
