Join Rent the Runway's Commerce Services Engineering Team as a software engineer to improve the architecture and functionality of our e-commerce platform.

About the Role
- Improve the architecture, functionality, quality, and continuous delivery of the service and its subsystems.
- Build robust services that uphold the financial integrity of our commerce data.
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy user interface components for internal tools that power our back-of-house systems.
- Find architectural and internal design improvements to enable rapid growth in traffic and order volumes.
- Deliver software on a sustainable schedule that keeps work-life balance in mind.
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, MySQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ/Kinesis, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, Splunk, and GCP.
- Experience with OOP concepts and design patterns using Java/Kotlin and SQL.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
About You
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of programming experience.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
