Software Engineer III Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer III to join our agile team in the Corporate and Investment Bank, where you will design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing software solutions, designing, developing, and troubleshooting technical issues with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches
- Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Formal training or certification on Full Stack Developer concepts and proficient applied experience
- Hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer working on Java technologies along with ReactJS, Java, Spring, Oracle, MQ, Kafka and whole range of SDLC toolset including CI/CD
- Strong OO design skills
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
