Software Engineer III role to develop innovative enhancements and new features for Pandora and Sirius XM applications and websites.

Cpl is partnering with Sirius XM to assemble an exceptional team for their new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned iOS, Android or Web engineer to deepen their experience and work with a world-class team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative enhancements and new features for existing Pandora and Sirius XM applications or websites.
  • Facilitate the troubleshooting of pre- and post-production issues, working closely with the development team.
  • Participate in code-reviews as part of a much larger team.
  • Be familiar with the overall software stack and the software components of the applications and website we build, and always be looking for ways to improve.
  • Participate in your team's software development coding standards, code review, and all documentation as it applies to software development of the platforms you work on.
  • Participate in the Agile development process for client development.
  • Keep fully aware of the industry evolution, new technologies, and evolution of client application or web frameworks.

Requirements:

  • A strong interest in collaborating via code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A growth mindset and an ability to learn quickly.
  • 4+ years of experience developing Client Software for iOS platforms.
  • Experience with implementing native apps for iOS using the latest Apple features and technologies including Xcode and Instruments.
  • Experience with Swift, Swift UI, Combine and other foundational Apple frameworks.
  • Nice to have experience with AVFoundation and Store Kit.
  • Experience with MVVM and other modern design patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD environments like GitHub Actions and fastlane.
  • Nice to have an interest in modern iOS tools like swiftlint, swiftformat, swiftgen, or Nuke.
