Software Engineer III, Site Reliability Engineering

Google is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join its Site Reliability Engineering team in Dublin, Ireland.

This role requires a strong background in software development, data structures, and algorithms, as well as experience with distributed systems, storage, and networking.

About the Job

Site Reliability Engineering combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
  • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
