We automate customer journeys to ensure our systems can talk to each other in a reliable but flexible way.About the RoleAs a Java Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native microservices applications. The role will involve building and deploying scalable, resilient, and maintainable microservices architectures.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designsDeveloping and maintaining cloud-native microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologiesDeveloping and maintaining RESTful APIs for microservices communicationImplementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOpsDeploying and managing microservices on Azure cloud platforms, such as Azure Container AppsTroubleshooting and debugging issues in complex microservices environmentsRequirementsExperience with Java Spring Boot and AzureExperience building and deploying microservices using Spring Boot frameworkAble to design and document RESTful APIs for microservices communicationAble to create and manage Docker containers, Dockerfiles, and Docker ComposeWorking knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals, deployments, services, and configuration managementGreat verbal and written communication skills and enjoy collaborating with teams to solve problemsWomen in Tech:LexisNexis Risk is very supportive of women in Technology and has been a founding signature for the Tech Talent Charter.
