Software Engineer Excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a thriving company in Limerick. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize the stack and applications for maximum speed and scalability. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests. Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and provide feedback. Manage and optimize our Client's AWS environment, including EKS for container orchestration. Work within an Agile development framework to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Requirements: 5years plus professional experience in full stack development. Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python. Experience with frameworks such as Vue and NestJS. Strong understanding of web development principles, including RESTful API design. Experience with GitLab for code management and CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically EKS for managing Kubernetes clusters. Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with microservices architecture and deployment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
