As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to: • Write high-quality code with a focus on security, design, and maintainability • Contribute to all phases of software development from design through rollout • Find real-life solutions for our clients and the world **Key Responsibilities** • Develop advanced technologies and applications that revolutionize payments • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver software solutions • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software engineering practices **Requirements** • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or accelerated master's program graduating in summer 2025 • Ready to start a new, permanent role in September 2025 • Project-based experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc. • Familiarity with persistent data stores such as relational databases, NoSQL, etc. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and familiarity with common debugging tools and information **Corporate Security Responsibility** All employees are responsible for information security and must abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices.
