Full Job DescriptionJoin a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversitySoftware Engineer ManagerWe are anopportunity for a Software Engineer Manager to join us at Honeywell,in Dublin, where you will be responsible for managing 2 HoneywellForge development scrum teams. You will ownership of core componentsof the Honeywell Forge IOT platform that's runs in both public andprivate clouds using a micro-services based architecture. You willensure features are delivered on time, on budget and according torequirements within a scaled agile framework. This is a hybrid role, 3+ 2 days model for office and home working.HCEHoneywell Connected Enterprise develops software that securelyunites OT and IT data to make better decisions and improve operationalperformance. We are committed to thehighest standard in everything we do!Key requirementsEngineering and Technology Leader for HCE Forgedevelopment teams.Work closely with product management andarchitects to help develop epics and features for the platformroadmap.Work closely with engineering leadership tocalculate engineering capacity and costs to build platform roadmap.Provide technical leadership and oversight in the developmentand implementation of engineering best practices.Improve theavailability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performanceof the platform while also driving consistency in monitoring andoperations at scale.Coach and train team members inengineering best practices with particular focus on agile bestpractices.Research new technologies to enhance Honeywell'scompetitive position and profitability and formulate research anddevelopment programs to implement them.Have an "AutomateEverything" mindset to support scalable growth.Estimateworkloads, make PI commitments and meet delivery dates and qualityrequirements while reporting progress to management.Key skills and qualificationsBachelor'sDegree in Computer Science or related technical field OR equivalentexperiencePrevious experience managing and leadingbackend and frontend development teams in an agile environmentPrevious experience with micro-services and cloud native productdevelopment and have a good understanding of Kubernetes orchestrationon Azure or AWSExperience using ContinuousIntegration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)Programmingexperience in C#, Java, or C++ with solid engineering practicesSolid experience with REST API development and exposure to Reactdevelopment.Shift left approach with solid experiencemanaging QA automation as part of the CI/CD pipelineOur offerA culture that fosters inclusion,diversity, and innovation in an international work environmentMarket specific training and ongoing personal development.Equal opportunity statementWe are anequal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
