We're a financial infrastructure platform for businesses, with millions of companies using us to accept payments, grow revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a lot of work ahead.

The Revenue Optimization team is part of our fastest-growing product area, Stripe Billing. We own:

- Billing Analytics
- Smart retries and Revenue Recovery
- Automations (a no-code workflow builder)

You'll work on products that directly impact our users, contributing across our technology stack, including backend services, frontend interfaces, real-time data pipelines, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Build real-time analytics features using Apache Flink and Apache Pinot.
  • Improve and maintain smart retries and other revenue optimization features.
  • Collaborate with teams across Stripe to develop platform-wide tools and real-time analytics capabilities.
  • Develop functionality for Automations, our no-code workflow builder, and other strategic products.
  • Engage directly with users to understand their needs and gather feedback on features.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
  • An interest in real-time data processing and analytics.
  • Ability to design and work on both frontend and backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and delight users.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders, including users, across different time zones.
