Job Description

Microsoft 365 is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic AI practitioner to develop innovative solutions that tackle real-world challenges and delight customers.

As a member of the Applied Scientists team, you will leverage advanced AI technologies to transform the way content is created, reviewed, and maintained. You will work with stakeholders to determine user requirements, identify dependencies, and develop design documents for product features. You will also create and implement code for products, services, or features, and assist in breaking down work items into tasks and providing estimation.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a feature.
  • Support identification of dependencies and development of design documents for a product feature.
  • Create and implement code for a product, service, or feature.
  • Assist in breaking down work items into tasks and provide estimation.
  • Monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and recommend actions to restore.
  • Review current developments and proactively seek new knowledge to improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • Programming skills: Proficient in.NET or similar, with additional knowledge of Python.
  • Software development practices: Experience in team-based development, utilizing Git for version control and managing release cycles.
  • Azure cloud infrastructure: Familiarity preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Machine learning fundamentals: Basic understanding of ML concepts.
  • Familiarity with machine learning technologies and cloud-based AI services to build, deploy, and optimize intelligent applications.
  • Data exploration: Familiarity in data analysis using Python, Pandas, and Jupyter Notebooks.
