Software Engineering Manager
Lead a team of talented engineers to develop and support mission-critical services and solutions, creating innovative experiences for public safety agencies and enterprises.

- Mentoring and fostering career growth for individuals on your team.
- Working closely with key stakeholders across different geographic locations to drive the overall goals of the RF Site organization and deliver software solutions on schedule and with high quality.
- Building a culture of continuous improvement to drive quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Leading and fostering a culture of innovation, and initiating activities such as IP Sprees and hackathons within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Significant professional experience in leading people and teams.
- A successful track record of developing high-performing software teams through hiring, retaining, and mentoring team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong understanding of the software development process and toolchain, including development environments, version control, testing, cybersecurity, and Agile development processes.
- Strong familiarity with C/C++ and object-oriented development.
- Strong familiarity with Linux and containerized applications.
Desired Skills
- Understanding of real-time processing in an embedded environment.
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies such as Docker and Podman.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
- Experience managing large software projects.
- Experience working with large, geographically distributed teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools.
