Job Summary

As an Engineering Manager at Signify Health Ireland, you will lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and optimizing our critical path mobile and web platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and optimizing our critical path mobile and web platform
• Foster a culture of curiosity and exploration, and drive long-term architecture and design for our platform solution
• Manage individual and team performance through regular 1:1 conversations and formal check-ins
• Model clear and effective communication, and provide feedback to your team
• Develop and improve our engineering processes, ensuring that our assets are well-defined, modularized, secure, reliable, reusable, and observable

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in software development
• 4+ years of experience in hiring, managing, and developing teams that deliver high-impact products to the market
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, async programming patterns, and object-oriented design
• Hands-on experience with a number of general-purpose programming languages, including .NET, Java, Python, PHP, RUST, Scala, C/C++, C#, and frontend frameworks such as Angular and React
• Extensive prior work with cloud-based systems
• Strong ability to review and evaluate code
• Significant experience in testing (unit, UI), CI/CD, Git Hub actions, Azure Dev Ops
• Experience with building observability into products and managing 'build it, own it' teams/products in production
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering, or related field
