**Software Engineering and Site Reliability Internship Opportunity** We are seeking highly motivated students to join our team as Software Engineering or Site Reliability Interns, working on critical projects that drive reliability and performance across a massive scale. **Job Description** As a Software Engineering or Site Reliability Intern, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs, designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software solutions. You will collaborate with our team to research, conceive, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Google's product offering. **Responsibilities:** • Research and develop software applications to extend and improve on Google's product offering • Contribute to a wide variety of projects using natural language processing, artificial intelligence, data compression, machine learning, and search technologies • Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information • Help maintain mission critical services **Requirements:** • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field in the EMEA region, and in your penultimate/final year of education • Experience working with data structures or algorithms during coursework/projects, research, internships, or practical experience in school or work • Ability to complete a 13-17 week full-time internship in the internship location between May - October 2025 • Relevant practical or internship experience with programming in C++, Java, Python, or Go • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed **About the Company:** Google is an engineering company at heart, hiring people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to take on some of technology's greatest challenges and make an impact on users around the world.
