Technical Expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing critical customer issues requiring ongoing communication with the Service SRE, Development, and Customer support teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including networking, storage, and compute.
- Knowledge of monitoring technologies, virtualization technologies, and automation/configuration management tools.
Technical Skills
- Monitoring technologies: Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios, ELK, Splunk, etc.
- Virtualization technologies: Citrix Xen Hypervisor, KVM, libvirt, VMware vSphere, etc.
- Automation and configuration management tools: Ansible, Salt, Chef, Python, Bash, Puppet, Rundeck, etc.
- Container technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of experience with Git Hub, Perl, and Python.
- 2+ years of experience in virtualization environments such as AWS, Softlayer, Zen, VMware.
