Role Overview: As a .NET (Angular) Software Engineer, you will be a key part of a collaborative team, responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing web-based applications the business uses. The project integrates complex financial models into user-friendly applications that drive investment decisions. This is a hands-on role for a developer with experience in financial services and a proven ability to work with a modern tech stack. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and high-performance .NET applications, leveraging Angular for front-end development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and fellow engineers, to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives. Enhance and maintain existing financial applications, ensuring seamless integration with databases and other internal systems. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including security, performance, and documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues promptly. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprints and releases to ensure the project meets key milestones. Key Skills and Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with expertise in .NET Core/.NET Framework. Strong Angular development skills, with experience building responsive and performant front-end applications. Financial services industry experience is strongly preferred, ideally within hedge funds, asset management, or investment banking. Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Entity Framework Solid understanding of web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript - Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus. - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
