Eir Grid Group operates and develops the electricity system in Ireland, shaping its 2020-25 strategy around climate change and the transition to low-carbon, renewable energy.
As a Solicitor in the Eir Grid Legal Team, you will provide legal advice on complex commercial, contractual, construction, procurement and regulatory matters affecting the business.
Job Purpose
Provide legal expertise, guidance and support to the Eir Grid Group in a dynamic environment. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify legal issues, solutions and efficiencies.Key Responsibilities
- Provision of legal advice on complex commercial, construction, contractual, corporate, procurement and regulatory matters.
- Collaborative working with multi-disciplinary teams to identify legal issues, solutions and efficiencies.
- Instruction of external legal advisors and management of relationships with such advisors.
- Participation in legal team initiatives and meetings, adding value to the legal team and business.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Qualified lawyer with relevant experience, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of managing high workloads and dealing with complex legal matters.
- Ability to provide sound commercial and legal judgment, and clear and concise legal advice.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong commercial focus and business acumen.
- Results-driven, highly organised and efficient, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
