Vhi Group Services DAC have a full-time, permanent vacancy for the role of Solicitor based in Dublin. The successful candidate will provide legal advice to the Vhi Group and work within the Vhi legal team, reporting directly to the Head of Legal. Previous in-house experience is not required. Role Purpose Provision of advice relating to various aspects of digital and technology law as well as data protection advice. Drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts and arrangements such as NDAs, Service Level Agreements, Purchase and Supply Agreements, Hospital Contracts etc. Provision of procurement advice in relation to third-party services. Participating in projects and advising on the legal issues arising out of same. Provision of certain regulatory advices in respect of the registered insurance entities. Provision of legal advice on day to day matters and various projects as they arise. The successful candidate must have: Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification. Qualified solicitor with 4 years’ plus experience in a top or mid-tier law firm, experience in practice areas such as IT, DP and corporate is preferable. Specific experience in drafting commercial contracts, with a particular focus on ICT contracts. Proven ability to work autonomously within a collaborative and fast-paced business environment. Proven ability to strike a balance between legal protections and commercial flexibility. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with other members of the legal team and cross-functional teams on organisational projects. Demonstrated alignment to the Vhi values.
