What is the opportunity?

We have an exciting opportunity for Solutions Architect to join our Wealth and Insurance business unit


The primary responsibility of the role is to support the Delivery Life Cycle by influencing solution designs and providing technical guidance from inception through to Production.

Your main focus will be on developing and maintaining the core application architecture of our business and scanning the environment for new innovative solutions to anticipate our technology needs.


In this role, you will:

  • Design and architect solutions that support our business and technology goals
  • Collaborate with, and offer technical guidance to, our delivery teams, developers and test functions in all phases of solution delivery
  • Drive and implement cloud, data and cyber security improvement initiatives
  • Producing highquality, properly functioning deliverables on time and on budget
  • Form deep relationships with multiple technical and business stakeholders

What will make you stand out:


A strong candidate will have demonstrable experience with IT architecture methodologies, helping to create solutions for complex digital front end and back end applications.

A solid understanding of technology trends and how to solution cloud implementations and a critical thinker, skilled in taking complex requirements and presenting solutions in simplified form to business stakeholders.


You will be able to work independently and autonomously, managing day to day workload and priorities and empowering others in their day to day activities.

Qualifications in any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;

  • Agile delivery certification (e.g. SAFe)
  • Experience with RDBMS database engines such as Oracle
Essential Qualifications

  • TOGAF Certified
  • Java certification
  • AWS, Azure certification
  • Experience in design of medium to large sized applications, preferably in the cloud and/or container environment.

The Solution Architect position is part of the I.T group within the Wealth and Insurance business unit. The team comprises a dynamic and dedicated mix of I.T professionals across the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle.

The role will have a significant impact in aligning our IT strategy to our business goals, across our digital applications and supporting technology landscape.


This job can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration.
