We seek high-caliber Solution test engineers to ensure product quality through system testing of large, complex environments, focusing on key technologies and emulating customer networks by: researching technologies and customer environments, exercising feature interaction, and identifying breakage areas. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, planning network topologies, executing test plans, troubleshooting failures, and communicating results to stakeholders. Qualifications include a Master's degree in telecommunications, computer engineering, or computer networking, 3+ years of experience in system testing, and a working knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 technologies, including IP forwarding, OSPF, BGP, and Ethernet link aggregation. Familiarity with Linux tools and scripting languages is also required. Strong written and oral communication skills, a drive to improve quality, and a curiosity to learn new technologies are essential. Ability to operate independently and succeed in breaking products.
