About the role: We’re looking to hire a Solutions Architect, Commercial Dublin to join the Revenue team. As a Solutions Architect, you will lead evaluation, implementation, and adoption of dbt for our commercial customers. This person will be based specifically in Dublin and ideally speaks a 2nd language. Ideally, this role is in office 3 days a week with a flexible schedule. In this role, you can expect to: Become an expert in designing enterprise-grade data pipelines with dbt CloudWork hand-in-hand with sales to communicate the technical value of the dbt Labs suite of productsGuide customers through proof-of-concept implementations and facilitate trials of dbt CloudWork with engineering to deploy dbt Cloud in private clouds for enterprise clientsOwn the full customer lifecycle from pre-sale evaluation to product adoption and expansionWork with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmapBuild close relationships with our Partners (including companies like Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks) and enable them to adopt and implement dbt for their clientsBe an active member of the dbt communityTravel ~25% of the time (1 trip per month to assigned territory)We are looking for someone who has:2+ years of sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BIA solid technical background, with experience in SQL, ETL, and data modelingA firm understanding of and ability to discuss modern data warehousing architecturesAbility to gather and translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutionsExcellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environmentA passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the communityNice to haves:Prior experience working at an analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-sourced softwareKnowledge of or prior experience with dbtExperience with Data Modeling methods such as dimensional, data vault, Kimball, 3NFExperience with traditional Enterprise ETL tooling (Informatica, Boomi, Talend)Fluent in Italian, Spanish, French, Hebrew or Portugese (or another language)Competitive CompensationEquity StakeBenefits -dbt Labs offers:Unlimited vacation (and yes we use it!)Pension coverageExcellent healthcarePaid Parental LeaveWellness stipendHome office stipend, and more!What to expect in the interview process (all video interviews unless accommodations are needed):Interview with Talent Acquisition PartnerInterview with Hiring ManagerTechnical Interview with a current Solution ArchitectTeam Interviews + presentation #LI-LA1 Who we are At dbt Labs, we have developed strong opinions on how companies should practice analytics.
