As a key member of the AWS team, you will play a crucial role in helping customers achieve their goals in the cloud. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.
The AWS Global Support team is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. The team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, sustainability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Build the technical relationship with customers and operate as their trusted advisor, always prioritizing their best interests.
- Internally, be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
- Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and reference architectures (e.g. whitepapers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).
- Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.
- Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customer's outcomes.
About the Team:
The AWS ISV Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to working with software companies to design and build some of the most scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions – cost-efficiently to enable them to expand their business globally.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience.
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
