Job Summary:
ESB Telecoms is seeking a Solution Design Specialist to support the enterprise in achieving its strategic goals and financial KPIs.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will operate as a core member of the Business Development, Strategy & Regulation team in ESB Telecoms, responsible for improving sales and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Sales & Marketing team engaging Customers as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Engage with clients to uncover their challenges, problem statements and requirements and map these to ESB Telecom capabilities and solutions.
- Articulate the value proposition and demonstrate proof of value / return on investment and the benefits of ESB Telecom.
- Design cost-effective solution propositions to address Customer needs.
- Build trust, relationships, and rapport with client stakeholders to facilitate building out joint strategic partnerships.
- Capture and design client requirements and act as the solution design authority on the opportunity.
- Develop customer commercial offers working with the commercial pricing teams and follow the opportunity to closure.
- Draw up strategies to increase customer account wallet share.
- Present to all levels within an organisation and understand the requirements of all stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance to the team members.
- Identify potential process improvement opportunities across the landscape.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and allocate and prioritise resources.
- Assist project teams in the delivery and integration of new customer services and solutions.
- Contribute to strategic planning on finding new opportunities and growing revenue based on the total addressable market.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years' specialist sales experience, preferably in Telecoms environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or similar (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid driver's license.
- Self-motivated and problem solver with excellent communication skills.
- Proactive when faced with a challenge.
- Team player with proven ability to work within team and with other support areas.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
- Change control & technical documentation.
- Flexible approach (pragmatism, resolving issues, weighing up conflicting solution parameters).
- Excellent process methodology and be process driven – logical reasoning.
- Willingness to travel nationwide.
- Experience in supporting diverse range of products/services on multi-tier customer network architectures.
Desirable:
- Experience in the Telecoms / Data Networks / Data Centre industry.
- Experience in Mobile Networks / Telecom Towers industry.
