Our client, a leading FMCG company, is looking for an experienced Specification Technologist to join their Quality & Technical team. Reporting to The Head of Quality & Technical, the Specifications Technologist will play a key role in the department. Responsibilities: Completing company and customer Finished Product Specifications Review and maintenance of customer on-line systems and associated policies. Using nutritional calculation databases Complete customer packaging system templates Maintenance and issue of production information relating to product specifications Project management and prioritisation of projects Producing product pack copy and labels in line with customer, product and legislative requirements Completion of customer questionnaires Technical artwork approval and Keyline management Quality Attribute documents (QAS) generation and maintenance Support Lead Specification Technologist in day-to-day duties and technical projects as necessary. Requirements: Experience in a similar role is desirable A good working knowledge of retailers specification platforms is required Experience with nutritional calculation databases High level of written and verbal communication skills Relevant quality and technical background working in a food environment A strong knowledge of EU and UK Food and labelling legislation A proactive work ethic with a hands-on approach Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent IT skills including MS Office, nutritional databases, retailer on line systems Ability to collaborate with the Technical and Production teams to ensure that customers and legislative requirements are met Interested?
