Evolve Psychology Services Ltd is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved independent psychology and neurodevelopmental practice, founded by Dr Laura Powling. The company provides high-quality services to clients across the UK and Ireland, including neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children as well as expert witness assessments for the courts and parole boards, assessments in criminal/prison law, family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases.

Role Description

This is an exciting and valuable role within a busy service, providing invaluable assessments to families. The role requires conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism and specialist Speech and Language Therapy assessments, using established diagnostic tools.

Assessments are undertaken on behalf of the HSE. The clinician is also responsible for writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, as well as providing appropriate recommendations and interventions. Additionally, the clinician may be involved in supervising and supporting junior staff members depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • BSc in Speech and Language Therapy or an equivalent CORU registered Speech and Language qualification
  • Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland and commute to Swords/ North Dublin
  • Experience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental/ Specialist developmental assessments with children
  • Current CORU registration
  • Experience working with children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for Autism and learning disability
  • ADOS-2/ ADI-R trained
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in report writing and record keeping
  • Experience of AON assessments desirable
  • Additional qualifications in relevant areas

Pay: €35,000.00-€85,000.00 per year
