Recruit Net International Ltd is seeking a skilled Activity Coordinator (Healthcare) for Private Hospitals in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Speech and Language Therapy and have experience working with adults in Neuro-disability and Mental Health settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registered with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist in Ireland
- 3 years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience working with adults
- At least 1 year of full-time experience working within a Neuro-disability setting or a Mental Health setting with adults
Responsibilities:
- Providing therapy sessions to clients, both one-on-one and in group settings, using evidence-based techniques
- Evaluating, monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and holistic care
- Be able to make clinical decisions following assessment of complex cases
- Document all assessments, diagnoses, treatment / intervention plans, clinical notes, relevant contacts and summaries in accordance with department and professional standards
- Develop the role of the Senior Speech and Language Therapist and the service through planning, audit, production of standards, continuing education, quality improvement initiatives and research
