Speech and Language Therapist CDNT6 Ref:SC23-193 Childrens Disability Network Team CDNT6 Lead Agency Stewarts Care Applications are invited for the above positions. Part Time Options may be considered. A panel will be formed from which other permanent or temporary posts may be filled. Overview of the post:We are seeking energetic, flexible, innovative, and enthusiastic Speech & Language Therapists to join our CDNT and to provide quality, evidence-based, and family-centred Speech and Language Therapy service to children and young people (0 18 years) with complex needs within an interdisciplinary framework. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills and be a positive influence at anexcitingtimewithinour services. Candidatesmustmeetthefollowingcriteriarelevanttotherole: Essential Criteria HoldaqualificationinSpeechandLanguageTherapyapprovedbytheSpeechandLanguageTherapyRegistrationBoardatCORU. Practitioners must maintain annual CORU registration. Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Effective planning, organisational and time management skills. Desirable Criteria Experience of working with children and adolescents with a range of disabilities. Practice with disorders of Feeding, Eating, Drinking, and Swallowing (FEDS). Experience of inter-disciplinary team working. Evidence of participation in continuous professional development. Have a full driving license and access to a car.
