Speech and Language Therapist required for an acute hospital in Meath, with experience in Dysphagia and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Medforce is partnering with an acute hospital in Meath to find a Speech and Language Therapist with expertise in Dysphagia and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification, CORU registration, and experience in Dysphagia, with a full driving license and access to own transport.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing bedside assessments and developing treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Participating in professional development and continuing education activities.
• Identifying patients needing objective assessment such as Videofluoroscopy or FEES.
• Working closely with other MDT members to co-ordinate referrals and allocate resources.
• Ensuring therapy is evidenced based and provided in accordance with standards of professional practice.
• Following protocols and procedures for working with patients in their home.
• Participating in CPD, meetings and supervision.

Requirements:

• Relevant Qualification
• CORU registration
