Speech Language Therapist Basic Grade Job In Limerick

Enable Ireland seeks a Basic Grade Speech & Language Therapist to provide speech and language therapy services to children with disabilities in Limerick.

Job Description:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to children with disabilities in a range of settings, including clinics, preschools, schools, and community settings.
• Assess and intervene with children to address their communication needs.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for children and their families.

Requirements:

• Be registered as a Speech & Language Therapist with the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
• Have a high standard of suitability and professional ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
• Be eligible to work in the state and have a Full Drivers License with access to own transport.

Desirable Criteria:

• Postgraduate experience working with children with disabilities in a community-based setting.
• Experience conducting Assessment of Need assessments and working with children with complex needs.
• Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and working with children on the Autism Spectrum.
