Job Description
Manage the Sports Centre and Adapted Physical Activity Centre as a social enterprise, ensuring a safe, high-quality, and well-coordinated service that adds value to the organisation.
The post holder will oversee the development of the centres, implement the strategic plan, and provide effective support services to foster reform across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the strategic vision and direction for the Sports Centre and Adapted Physical Activity Centre, ensuring alignment with the organisational strategic plan.
- Lead the implementation of a sports centre strategy for service user/customer experience.
- Provide advice and support to the Executive Management Team on matters related to their areas of responsibility.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of the EMT, Programme Managers, and relevant personnel.
- Promote a performance management culture throughout the Sports Centre and Adapted Physical Activity Centre.
- Promote innovation in service delivery throughout areas of responsibility.
The Person
- Level 8, Honours bachelor's degree in business or in sports management.
- Essential experience in Sports Centre Management and management.
- Good working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.
- Desirable in-depth working knowledge of the healthcare sector, specifically within the Intellectual Disability sector.
